If you are looking for an exact replacement 1- go to your local Audi dealer 2- ask them to purchase a battery 3- have them install it for you and code it. Last year I needed a new battery after 9 years on the original though I am the third owner.

Sep 21, 2017 · If it's not the original, then it's unlikely that a replacement battery for the original will itself be unserviceable. I would ask, why even a battery on a small car would not 'jump' start your car even if your battery was no good. Possible is that your battery is so bad that it will it accept a through voltage from another good battery.

There are 2 different c6 4.2's, I think the difference is FSI and the older non-FSI. I Believe they split in 2007.
Nov 7, 2022 · A6 / S6 (C6 Platform) Discussion - Battery Drain from MMI - Temp Fix - Hello Everyone, I have a 2005 A6 3.2 with MMI It currently has 150,000mi, lately the battery has been drained to 10% when I go out to the car, the exterior leaving home lights fail to turn on as well as the interior lights, until i start the car.
Battery manager is not part of the MMI update - it can only be done at Audi dealer, the software in battery manager is updated, but the main culprit is the audio/sat-nav staying on after car is turned off, been 2 years since i fixed my one, and it has a 7year old battery in it, so all this "oh my battery is dead - you need a new one", just masks the root cause, which is dodgy software in audio
Remove Bracket - Take off the bracket that secures the battery. 4. Remove Cables - How to disconnect the cables the right way. 5. Clean Cables - Clean with baking soda, water and a wire brush. 6. New Battery - Install new battery and prevent corrosion. 7. Secure Battery - Replace the bracket to secure the new battery.
